The Miles Community College Pioneer Volleyball team will head to Wahpeton, ND this weekend for the Region XIII Playoffs and a chance to advance a step nearer to the NJCAA DII National Volleyball Tournament. The Region 11 runner up will play at the Region 13 Champion on November 8.

The Pioneers are are the #1 seed from Region XIII West and are automatically in the semifinal round. MCC will face either Dakota College at Bottineau/Dawson CC/or Lake Region State in the semifinal round. Dakota College plays at Dawson Wednesday night with the winner facing Lake Region State on Saturday at 11:00 AM CST. The winner of the 11:00 AM match will face the Pioneers at 4:00 PM CST. 

The winner of the semifinal will advance to the Region XIII Championship on Sunday at 2:00 PM CST. 

North Dakota State College of Science earned the right to host the playoffs for winning the MonDak Conference. The Pioneers finished 3rd place in the MonDak Conference standings with a 6-4 mark. MCC was 14-11 overall for the season.
