MCC Wins 3rd Consecutive Match With Road Victory At Dickinson JV

Pioneers 3... Dickinson State 0 (25-12, 25-18, 25-18)

The MCC Pioneers went on the road Sunday afternoon and quickly disposed of the Dickinson State JV Bluehawks for the 2nd time this season. 

The win was the 3rd straight victory for MCC after dropping their previous 3 decisions. The Pioneers did not allow the Bluehawks to get to 20 points in the dominating victory. 

Defensively, Cameron Blevins (Sophomore - Shelby, MT) came up with 14 digs and Grace Gackle (Sophomore - Circle, MT) had 3 blocks. 

Offensively, Taiya Guptill (Freshman - Hardin, MT) had 34 assists and 2 aces, while Zeason Schaffer (Sophomore - Broadus, MT) had 17 kills and Mia Mader (Sophomore - Broadus, MT) also had 2 aces. 

The Pioneers upped their season record to 10-7 and will travel to Glendive on Tuesday night for a 6:00 PM match with the Buccaneers. MCC will try to get above .500 in MonDak Conference action for the 1st time this season.
