Pioneers 0... Casper College 3 (21-25, 18-25, 12-25)

The MCC Pioneers stepped up a level of play Saturday as D1 Casper College invaded the MCC Centra and walked away with a 3-0 win over the Pioneers and sending MCC to their 3rd consecutive loss. The Pioneers lost 4 out of 5 matches during the week that included a 4-game road swing. 

The Region IX Thunderbirds took control of the match early and didn't give the Pioneers any light at the end of the tunnel. For MCC, Mia Mader (Sophomore - Broadus, MT) had 7 kills and Taiya Guptill (Freshman - Hardin, MT) contributed 14 assists and 2 service aces. Cameron Blevins (Sophomore - Shelby, MT) had 15 digs while Angeline Riener (Freshman - Fort Benton, MT) had 2 blocks. 

The Pioneers are now 7-7 on the season and will try to pick up their first MonDak Conference victory on Tuesday night when they host Williston State College in Miles City, MT at 7:00 PM.
