Pioneers 1... Lake Region State 3 (15-25, 19-25, 25-15, 22-25)

Lake Region State ended the MCC Pioneer 4-game road trip with a 2nd consecutive MonDak Conference loss as the Pioneers head back to Miles City with a 0-2 conference record. The Royals controlled the match thru the 1st two games before the Pioneers grabbed their footing to win game 3. Lake Region then took momentum back in game 4 to take the match 3-1. 

Mia Mader (Sophomore - Broadus, MT) had a solid match with a season high 11 kills while adding 19 digs in the back row. Taiya Guptill (Freshman - Hardin, MT) had 39 assists and Savanah Newsom (Freshman - Great Falls, MT) had 3 service aces. Cameron Blevins (Sophomore - Shelby, MT) had 28 digs while Grace Gackle (Sophomore - Circle, MT) and Angeline Riener (Freshman - Fort Benton, MT) each had 2 blocks. 

The Pioneers are now 7-6 overall and will host Region IX Casper College Saturday afternoon at 2:00 PM MDT.
