Pioneers 3... Rocky JV 0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-14)

The MCC Pioneers wrapped up their 2024 regulars season with a 3-0 win to take the season series over the Rocky Mountain College JV Bears. The Pioneers made some huge surges in the match to come up with the win. In game 1, MCC trailed 18-21 only to serve out the match with 7 consecutive points. The Pioneers trailed game 3 11-12 and then went on to score 14 of the next 16 points to collect the victory. 

The Pioneers got 43 assists from Bailey Nowicki (Miles City, MT) and 13 kills from Zeason Schaffer (Broadus, MT) to lead the way to the victory. Cameron Blevins (Shelby, MT) came up with 16 digs and 2 service aces while Grace Gackle (Circle, MT) and Kodiann Lynn (Simms, MT) each had 3 blocks. 

MCC concludes the regular season with an 18-15 record and finished the MonDak Conference at 7-5. Next up for the Pioneers is the Region XIII Playoffs in Bismarck, ND hosted by MonDak regular season champion Bismarck State. The Pioneers will play the winner of Dakota County Tech/Gogebic College on November 2 at 10:00 AM MDT.
