Not only was the final week of the regular season big for the MCC Pioneer Volleyball team getting 2 home wins, outside hitter Angela Youngs (Gillette, WY) earned MonDak Conference Player of the Week honors. 

Youngs is a 5'11 freshman from Thunder Basin High School in Gillette. In the two victories over Dakota College at Bottineau and Dawson, Youngs had 20 kills in 53 attempts. She also had 29 digs, 5 blocks, 4 assists while committing only 4 errors. Youngs and the Pioneers will head to Bismarck, ND tonight for a MonDak Conference Semifinal match against the BSC Mystics at 6:00 PM MST.
