MCC Pioneer volleyball returned home after 2 weeks out on the road and reaped the benefits of the home court as they waltzed away with a 3-1 victory over Lake Region State College and stayed in 3rd place in the MonDak Conference standings. The Pioneers won 25-11, 25-18, 19-25, 25-22 to move to 7-6 in conference play and 9-9 overall. 

Angela Youngs (Gillette, WY) had it going all night as she accounted for 18 kills in the victory. Cassidy Acor (Havre, MT) made it tough on the Royals hitters by recording 11 blocks and Jacey Rowland (Reyburn, Saskatchewan) had 22 assists. Matilda Dietz (Manhattan, MT) picked up 28 digs and Cloe Cota (Roundup, MT) served up 2 aces. 

The teams play again Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 PM at the MCC Centra.
