The Miles CC Pioneer Volleyball team traveled to Bottineau, ND on Friday and avenged an earlier 5-set loss by sweeping the Lumberjacks in convincing fashion. MCC took control of the match after a thrilling game 1 that ended 28-26. Game 2 saw much of the same back and forth action before the Pioneers squeaked out a 25-23 win. This time around, the Lumberjacks couldn't rally as the Pioneers dominated game 3 25-16. 

Angela Youngs (Gillette, WY) led the team with 11 kills. Jacey Rowland (Weyburn, Saskatchewan) had 13 assists while Matilda Dietz (Manhattan, MT) had 18 digs. Cassidy Acor (Havre, MT) had 3 blocks and Celsa Castro (Roundup, MT) mustered up 3 aces.

The two teams will have the season rubber match on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 PM MST in Bottineau.
