The MCC Pioneer women went to the locker room at halftime in Glendive, MT trailing the Dawson CC Buccaneers 34-28. What transpired after the half is something the Pioneers would love to bottle up and carry to every game for the remainder of the season. The Pioneers outscored Dawson 50-22 in the 2nd half and cruised to a 78-55 win and push MCC past Dawson in the MonDak Conference standings.
The in-state rivals traded blows in the first half as Dawson built an 8-point lead in the 2nd quarter after the game was tied 20-20 at the end of the 1st quarter in which both teams combined for 55% shooting in the quarter.
