The MCC Pioneers rallied from a 14-point 3rd quarter deficit and used a Ebele Mbagwu (Freshman - Bakersfield, CA) runner in the middle of the key with 6 seconds remaining as the Pioneers snuck past Dickinson State JV 65-63 Saturday afternoon in Glendive, MT.

MCC outscored the Bluehawks 25-12 in the 4th quarter for the win. Laynee Elness (Freshman - Winifred, MT) led the way for the Pioneers with 15 points (6-13 FG, 0-3 3's, 3-4 FT) and 6 rebounds. Matilda Sanz (Freshman - Madrid, Spain) added 14 points (7-14 FG, 0-5 3's), 6 assists, and 3 steals. Pien Draisma (Sophomore - Netherlands) added 10 points (3-7 FG, 3-6 3's, 1-2 FT).

The Pioneers are now 4-4 on the season and will play Sunday at 12:00 PM against the Carroll College JV in Glendive, MT.
