Binta Salawu 21 point, 8 rebound, 3 steal effort went for not as the MCC women squandered a second half lead for the 2nd consecutive day and lost a hard fought 64-59 loss to the NDSCS Wildcats. MCC led 33-25 at the half but saw the Wildcats outscore the Pioneers 39-26 in the second half as MCC shot only 28% from field in that half. MCC was also hampered by 9 missed free throws in the 1st half.
Olyvia Pacheco pitched in 13 points and Claire Borot had 11. Kate Golovkina led MCC with 9 rebounds and MCC outrebounded NDSCS 43-33 on the game.
