The Miles Community College Pioneer softball team will head to the Region XIII Playoffs April 30-May 2 in Rosemount, MN.

The Pioneers will go in as the #2 seed and face the host Dakota County Tech in the quarterfinal round on Thursday at 3:00 PM MDT.

MCC finished 12-8 in MonDak Conference play and 24-20 overall. The was a tie for the #2 seed with Williston State and the Pioneers got the #2 seed on a coin flip. Williston State then became the #4 seed because DCTC automatically gets the #3 seed. 

Dawson is the #1 seed and Lake Region State is the #5 seed and will face Williston on Thursday at 1:00 PM MDT. The winner of that game will face Dawson in quarterfinal at 5:00 PM MDT. 

The winner of the Region XIII Tournament will host the North Plains District championship next weekend in a best of 3 series against an opponent from Region XI.
