Pioneers 0... Madonna U. JV 5

The warm weather in the hot Arizona sun had a cooling effect on the Miles Community College bats on Saturday in Tucson. 

The Pioneers could only come up with 2 hits and those hits came in the bottom of the 6th inning as the Madonna University JV shut out the Pioneers 5-0 on the first day of the Pioneer spring break trip. 

Arin Eaton (CF - Belgrade, MT) and Rylynn Krein (P - Fergus Falls, MN) came up with back to back singles for the only offense of the day. Madonna scored 4 runs in the 4th inning and then picked up a run in the 6th to aid in the victory. 

Krein got the start for the Pioneers and pitched a complete game 7 innings (8 H, 5 R, 3 ER, 4 BB, 4 SO).
