Pioneers ... Rochester C & T 

The MCC Pioneers got on the board first with a run in the top of the 1st inning. RF Cassidy Bagnell (Frenchtown, MT) singled, stole 2nd, advanced to 3rd on a passed ball, and then scored on CF Skylar Higgs (Livingston, MT) sacrifice fly.

The Pioneers added 3 more in the top of the 2nd and all 3 runs came with two outs. 2B Shannon Nelson (Livingston, MT) started the rally with a bunt single and advanced to 3rd on a single by C HaiLeigh Davis (Shepherd, MT). SS Sierra John (Idaho Falls, ID) reached base on an error by the Rochester SS as Nelson scored and Davis advanced to 3rd. John stole 2nd and Bagnell stepped up with a 2 RBI single to left field. 

MCC tacked on another run in the 3rd after the Johnson's (Megan (Preston, ID) & Reed (Columbus, MT)) had back to back singles. Megan scored on a sacrifice fly by 1B Isabelle Adams (Park City, MT).  Davis kicked the 4th inning off with a single and scored on a triple by John to make the score 6-0. Bagnell then picked up her 3rd hit and RBI of the game with a single that scored John. Bagnell then stole 2nd, moved to 3rd ony a fly ball by Higgs and after a Megan Johnson walk, Bagnell scored on an RBI single by Reed Johnson and ended the top of the 4th with the Pioneers leading 8-0. 

In the 5th inning, Davis walked and John doubled to right field putting runners on 2nd and 3rd. Bagnell grounded out and Davis scored to make the score 9-0. 

Hazel Eaton (Belgrade, MT) got the start in the circle for the Pioneers. Eaton pitched a stellar 5 innings giving up only 2 hits and 2 walks to go along with 4 strikeouts.

• MCC had 11 hits in the game as Bagnell had 3, John 2 (2B, 3B), Reed Johnson 2, and Davis 2. Nelson and Megan Johnson had the other hits.
• Rochester had 2 hits. 
• Each team had 1 error.

• MCC had 9 stolen bases. Reed Johnson 3, Bagnell 2, Megan Johnson, Davis, Liz Ybarra, and John each had one. 

Pioneers ... Bethany Lutheran JV

The Pioneers got off to another good start in the 1st inning pushing thru 3 runs when Sierra John was hit by a pitch and Cassidy Bagnell smacked a triple to left field scoring John. Liz Ybarra followed that with an RBI single scoring Bagnell and Skylar Higgs singled to put runners on 1st and 2nd. A double steal put runners on 2nd and 3rd and Ybarra scored on an error by the Bethany catcher. 

MCC added 3 more runs in the 2nd inning after Davis singled and John drove her in with a triple. John scored on a passed ball and Liz Ybarra followed up with a single. Megan Johnson singled to put runners on the corners and Hazel Eaton singled to drive in another run. 

The Pioneers picked up another run in the 5th when Alexa Lewis (Bozeman, MT) reached base on an error and advanced to 3rd on a passed ball. She scored on a passed ball to make the score 7-0.

Peyton Whitehead (Joliet, MT) continued her solid performances in the circle following up MCC's 1st no hitter with a 1-hitter on Tuesday night. 7 innings (H, 4 BB, 7 SO) to get the win for the Pioneers.
