The Miles Community College Pioneer softball team is set to begin the West Region XIII Playoffs on Tuesday in Glendive, Montana. 

The #2 seed Pioneers will face the #3 seed Lake Region State College Royals at 12:00 MST. The winner will then play in the undefeated semifinal on Wednesday at 10:00 AM. The Pioneers finished the regular season 18-5-1 in MonDak Conference play and 21-12-1 overall. Lake Region State comes in to the game 10-13-1 in conference play and 17-19-1 overall. The Pioneers were 2-1-1 in the 4 regular season games played in Devils Lake, ND this season. 

Individually for the Pioneers, CF Autumn Porter leads the MonDak Conference in RBI with 58 and is 2nd in home runs with 11. 2B Tessa Della Silva is the league leader in stolen bases with 29 and SS Abby Johnson is 5th with 26. 3B Olivia Cook is 3rd in home runs with 10 while in the circle Kassidy Kinzie is 2nd in the conference in wins with 11, 3rd in ERA at 3.38, and 4th in strikeouts with 106. 

This will be MCC's 1st ever Region Tournament after last years inaugural season was cut short due to covid.
