Northwest College Rodeo #1 (September 5-6) 

The MCC Pioneers failed to score any team points or have an athlete place in rodeo #1 in Cody, WY. Coach Sylvan La Cross said of the team "Freshman jitters got the best of everyone, even the Sophomores!"

Northwest College Rodeo #2 (September 7-8)

Rodeo #2 saw a couple of Pioneers find places in the event. The Pioneer men's team tied for 5th place with 50 points. The women's team did not score and finished 5th as well. 

Cadence Schweigert (Miles City, MT) got 2nd place in Breakaway Roping with a time of 2.8 seconds. 

Rope Roghair (Isabel, SD) finished 6th place in Saddle Bronc Riding with a score of 58. 

Next up for the Pioneer Rodeo team is a trip to Glendive for the Dawson CC rodeo on Friday and Saturday (September 13-14).
