Pioneers 96... United Tribes 91 (OT)

The MCC Pioneers rallied from an 11-point 2nd half deficit and Azenio Cossa (6'3 Sophomore - Maputo, Mozambique) hit a short jump shot with 4 seconds left in regulation to force overtime and MCC outscored the Thunderbirds 20-15 in the extra session. 

Cossa led 5 Pioneers in double figures with 27 points (9-21 FG, 1-5 3's, 8-10 FT) and 9 rebounds. Uwami Chongo (6'8 Sophomore) added 19 points (8-12 FG, 0-1 3's, 3-4 FT) and 9 rebounds and fellow frontline newcomer Shad Boyce (6'8 Freshman - Winifred, MT) had 9 points (3-11 FG, 0-3 3's, 3-4 FT) and 9 rebounds. Donnie Haney (6'2 Sophomore - Baton Rouge, LA) came off the bench to score 14 points (5-13 FG, 3-10 3's, 1-2 FT) including 2 3's during the Pioneer 2nd half rally. Josh Gosar (6'2 Freshman - Pinedale, WY) also provided a big lift off the bench with 12 points (4-7 FG, 2-5 3's, 2-3 FT) while Jace Hill (6'2 Sophomore - Columbia Falls, MT).

United Tribes got a big night from Benjamin Old Person Harlow with 32 points (13-20 FG, 3-8 3's, 3-7 FT) and 8 rebounds. Zi White Woman added 19 points (9-18 FG, 1-3 FT) and 8 rebounds.
