Three Pioneer Basketball Players Earn All MonDak Conference Honors

Three Miles Community College Pioneer basketball players earned All-Conference honors as announced by the MonDak Conference on Monday.

Yohandry OrtizOtriz is a 6'5 freshman from Naples, Florida and was a 1st Team All Conference selection. Ortiz averaged 23.1 points per game for the season and shot 46% from the field and 37% from the 3-point line. Ortiz shot 81% from the free throw line and averaged 5.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game. 

Koak KokKok is a 6'7 sophomore from Ulang, South Sudan and was a 2nd Team All Conference selection. Kok averaged 14.8 points per game for the season and shot 58% from the field and 74% from the 3-point line. Kok averaged 6.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game. 

Lainey Smith - Smith is a 5'8 sophomore from Miles City, Montana and was a 2nd Team All Conference selection. Smith averaged 10.5 points per game for the season and shot 33% from the field and 28% from the 3-point line. Smith shot 73% from the free throw line and averaged 5.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. 

The Pioneers finished the season 15-17 and lost in the Region XIII Semifinals. The Pioneer women finished the season 4-27 and lost in the 1st round of the Region XIII Playoffs.
