Pioneers 105... Dakota College at Bottineau 75

The MCC Pioneers connected on a season high 17 3-point field goals (59%) and held the lead from start to finish in a 105-75 win over Dakota College at Bottineau on Sunday afternoon in Bottineau, ND. The Pioneers got a 3-point field goal from all 10 players that took the floor and the MCC defense held the Lumberjacks to 30 points in the 2nd half to aid in the victory. 

Yohandry Ortiz (Freshman - Naples, FL) scored 23 points (9-16 FG, 3-5 3's, 2-2 FT) to go along with 6 rebounds leading 4 Pioneers in double figures. Azenio Cossa (Freshman - Maputo, Mozambique) added 17 points (8-11 FG, 1-2 3's, 0-1 FT) and 6 rebounds while Koak Kok (Sophomore - Ulang, South Sudan) had 14 points (6-11 FG, 1-1 3's, 1-2 FT) and a team high 8 rebounds. Donnie Haney (Freshman - Baton Rouge, LA) had 12 points (4-9 FG, 4-6 3's) off the bench and Mack Page (Sophomore - Worland, WY) had 9 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals. Jace Hill (Freshman - Columbia Falls, MT) had 6 assists to lead MCC.

Edward Lual (Freshman - Perth, Aus) had 29 points (12-19 FG, 4-7 3's, 1-2 FT) to lead the Lumberjack offense.
