The MCC Pioneer men trailed by as many as 15 points late in the 2nd half in Bismarck on Monday night before turning things around in the 2nd half of a 91-82 win and a season sweep of the Bismarck State Mystics. The Pioneers came to life after a 44-point drubbing the day before at Lake Region State by outscoring the Mystics 53-38 in the 2nd half after trailing 44-38 at halftime.
Blessing Adesipe (Houston, TX) scored 25 points (9-17 FG, 2-3 3's, 5-7 FT) and snagged 14 rebounds to lead the way for MCC and Ray Daniels (Las Vegas, NV) added 23 points (9-17 FG, 2-7 3's, 3-5 FT) and 7 rebounds. Tvon Jones (Philadelphia, PA) scored 13 points (5-12 FG, 1-3 3's, 2-5 FT) to go along with 5 rebounds and Denzel Kabasele (Lancaster, PA) chipped in 11 points (4-6 FG, 1-1 3's, 2-2 FT). Eli Habighorst (Las Vegas, NV) dished out 6 assists and grabbed 7 rebounds while Ethan Bell (Chinook, MT) had 3 steals. Adesipe and Daniels combined for 27 points in 2nd half and Kabasele scored all of his after the halftime break.
