The MCC Pioneer men's basketball team found the confines of the Pronghorn Center in Gillette, WY not so friendly. The Pioneers struggled offensively from start to finish and Casper College took full advantage in a 105-61 Thunderbird victory.
Casper took advantage of size mismatches inside and got 23 points (8-12 FG, 1-2 3's, 6-7 FT) and 11 rebounds from Rashaun Agee. Bright Iheanachor came off the bench to score 20 points (8-10 FG, 4-6 FT) and also grab 11 rebounds. PJ Ngambi was the only other T-Bird in double digits with 11 points (4-9 FG, 3-5 3's). Davion McAdam led the T-Birds in assists with 5.
The Pioneers were led by Ray Daniels (Las Vegas, NV) with 23 points (11-20 FG, 0-2 3's, 1-1 FT) and 4 rebounds. Blessing Adesipe (Houston, TX) added 19 points (7-16 FG, 3-8 3's, 2-4 FT) and 4 rebounds. Paul Gakmar (Perth, Australia) had 6 rebounds and Eli Habighorst (Las Vegas, NV) led the Pioneers with 4 assists.
