Game 1 - Pioneers 0... Williston State 8

Williston State pitcher Nick Schrider shut down the MCC Pioneer offense with 12 strikeouts, allowing only 4 hits and the Tetons used a 6-run 3rd inning to take command of the game in a 8-0 win on Monday in Williston. 

The Pioneers managed 4 singles and 2 of those hits came in the 7th inning. 

AJ Truman (Eureka, MT) got the start and pitched 5 innings (6 H, 6 R, 2 BB, 2 SO). Ryan Kelly pitched the 6th inning (2 H, 2 R, BB, SO).

The MCC Pioneer bats were held without a run for the 2nd consecutive game and Williston State used a 2 spot in the 2nd inning for a 2-0 victory and sweep the 4-game series from the Pioneers. 

MCC was able to come up with only 4 hits in the game. The Pioneers hit a double in the 3rd inning, single in the 4th, single in the 6th inning and a double in the 7th inning and didn't get a runner to 3rd base in the game. 

Tanner Hager (Casper, WY) started the game and had a solid pitching effort. Hagar pitched 5 innings (4 H, 2 R, 4 BB, 6 SO). Pierce Hollowell navigated the 6th inning with a hit and a walk.
