Game 1 - Pioneers 3... Northeast CC Hawks 13 (5 Innings)
Northeast CC picked up right where they left off on Wednesday, scoring at least a run in all 5 innings, and made short work of the Pioneers with a 13-3 win in game 1 on Thursday.
Northeast scored a run in the bottom of the 1st but the Pioneers answered with a run in the top of the 2nd to tie the game 1-1. Northeast put 2 on the board in the bottom of the 2nd and the Pioneers answered again with 2 in the top of the 3rd to tie the game again. Chance Descalchuk (DH - Regina, Saskatchewan) smacked a 2-RBI single but that was the last time the Pioneers would cross home plate. Descalchuk had 3 of the 5 hits for the Pioneers
The Hawks quickly responded with 3 runs in the bottom of the 3rd, 3 more in the 4th, and finished the game early with 4 in the 5th inning.
AJ Truman (Eureka, MT) got the start on the mound and pitched 2.2 innings (5 H, 6 R, 4 ER, 4 BB, SO). Keenan Kraft (Belgrade, MT) filled in for the next 1.1 innings (3 H, 3 R, BB, SO). Kellan Henry finished the game in the 5th inning and allowed a hit, 4 runs, and walked 3.

The Northeast CC train kept on rolling in the final game of the 4-game series. MCC was able to get on the board in the top of the 1st for their 1st lead of the series after Chase Carnahan (2B - Fallon, NV) tripled and was driven in on a single from Ethan Forrest (LF - Saskatoon, Saskatechewan).
Northeast then continued their dominance scoring 2 runs in the 2nd inning and piling up runs in every inning before walking the game off in the 6th. Northeast scored 46 runs in the series to just 8 for the Pioneers.
Chaise Tracy (3B - Billings, MT) was the only Pioneer with 2 hits in the game.
Dominic Johnatakis (Syracuse, UT) got the start and pitched 4 innings (6 H, 7 R, 4 BB, 3 SO). Eli Kelley came in for 0.1 innings (3 H, 3 R, SO) and was followed by Logan Bergantolli (West Jordan, UT) for 0.2 innings (SO). Tracy was the final pitcher and allowed a run on one hit.
