Pioneer Baseball Moves to #11 In NJCAA DII Poll

The MCC Pioneer Baseball team moved it's record to 22-9 after winning its 9th straight game this past weekend and moved up to 11th in the nation in the most recent NJCAA DII Baseball Poll. To go along with the team rankings, several Pioneers are in the top 10 in various individual statistical categories. 

1B Dawson Parry leads DII in home runs with 15 and RBI with 56 and is also 9th in batting average at .510. Pitcher Jett Hasegawa leads the nation in wins with a record of 7-0 and is also 12th with an ERA of 1.29. Pitcher Anthony Bleggi is 7th in wins with a 4-0 record. Reliever Jay Neugebauer is 2nd in the nation with 4 saves. 

The Pioneers are also 4th in the nation as a team with 269 runs scored and 6th in home runs with 40. 

Next up for the Pioneers is a weekend series with Bismarck State. Friday's games will be in Bismarck and Saturday's games in Miles City. Games are scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM each day.
