Glacier Twins' Miller Signs with Miles Community College
(Miles City, MT) – Miles Community College has announced the signing of Trevor Miller (Columbia Falls) to play baseball for the Pioneers for the 2010-11 school year. In his final season with the Glacier Twins, Miller struck out 81 batters in just over 72 innings of work. The right handed pitcher finished the year with a 5-7 record and a 6.07 earned run average in 17 appearances for the Twins. At the plate, Miller had a .300 batting average in 120 plate appearances. He hit four homeruns and finished with 19 runs-batted-in. Miller picked up the Twins’ lone conference win in a 10-6 victory over the Calgary Redbirds. In the outing, he struck out six and scattered six hits in 5 1/3 innings of work.
Miles Community College finished last season with a 35-13 overall record, their 10th consecutive Mon/Dak Conference championship, and an appearance in the North Plains District tournament. School begins at MCC on Wednesday, August 25th.
