Pioneer Baseball Adds Kootenai Valley Pitcher
(Miles City, MT) – Miles Community College head baseball coach Rob Bishop has announced that right-handed pitcher Josh Soderling (Eureka) has committed for the upcoming school year. Soderling is currently 4-1 for the Kootenai Valley Rangers in eight games on the young legion season. He has struck out 48 batters and only walked 10 in 42 1/3 innings pitched. Last season he earned All-Conference honors as he struck out 124 and walked just 22 in 101 innings. He finished the year with a 7-7 record and a 3.14 earned run average. He has been named the team’s pitcher of the year for the last two seasons.
Miles Community College just recently finished their season with a 35-13 overall record, an appearance in the North Plains District Tournament, and their 10th consecutive Mon/Dak Conference championship.
