“Most people notice us for the win/loss record we had this year (25-8). We would love to be noticed for all the great things our young women do off the court as well, commented head coach Nate Vogel.” At our initial meeting this year, we set as our first goal to have the top GPA in the nation. We didn’t talk about wins and losses. Although we came up just a little short of our goal, I’m extremely proud of our team for the great work they did in the classroom. We have established a great culture for the women’s basketball team at MCC. We’ll see if we can get to that #1 spot for the ‘18-19 school year."
Academic teams of the year are awarded to the top teams in the nation each year.
