Coach Jeff Brabant is proud of his team and all that they have accomplished, “Our season isn't defined by our last few days, but a culmination of efforts in the weight room, classroom and on the field everyday since August. This is a fantastic team of a bunch of tremendous character guys and it was a privilege to coach them.
The hard part of JUCO ball is saying goodbye after two short years as our sophomores were great leaders. Some days I wish I coached at a 4 year school for this reason.
This team has a great nucleus coming back and there is a great recruiting class coming in. Our future is bright. I'm proud of this program and what it has accomplished at the Division I level. We represented our school and uniform with pride and class.”
With the loss to Lamar, the Pioneer’s season has come to an end. MCC ends the season with a 32-22 record.
