The Pioneers were looking to get back into the win column against the Generals of Sheridan College on Saturday at the Kailey Gymnasium. The Pioneers played great defense, holding the Generals to only 4 points in the second quarter and only 14 points in the first half. MCC defeated Sheridan 68-53. When we can put that kind of pressure on the other team and shoot the ball as well as we did, we are a tough team to beat. We shot 41% from beyond the 3-point line (9/22) and 85% from the free throw line (11/13).”
Dakota Dosch led the team in scoring with 15 points. Patrycja Jaworska added 13 points. Dakota Dosch also led the team in rebounding with 6.
