The Pioneers traveled to Little Big Horn College on Wednesday evening to take on the Rams. It was a great game for the Pioneers. Their offense was on fire and their defense put pressure on the Rams the entire game. The Pioneers were looking good going into the half with a lead of 68-43. The hot shooting of the Pioneers continued in the second half and they took the victory 135-87. Coach Chase Tait felt good about the effort his team put forward, “It was nice to see the ball go in the basket again consistently for an entire game. We played with a lot of energy and confidence. I thought our defensive pressure rattled them in the first half and lead to alot of our baskets. We hit 20 3-pointers which is something that I knew we were capable of. Hopefully this gives us confidence moving forward as we go thru the conference 1 more time.”
Andrea LoBiondo put up a double-double with 28 points and 20 rebounds. Erie Olonade and Perion Little added 23 apiece.
The Pioneers are home in the Kailey Gymnasium Saturday at 4:00 pm as they take on the, Conference leading, Gillette Pronghorns.
