COACH VOGEL SIGNS TWO MORE TO ROUND OUT 2017-2018 TEAM
Miles Community College Head Women’s Basketball Coach, Nate Vogel, has announced the final two signings for his 2017-2018 team. He welcomes to the team Brooks Carillo of Pukalani, Hawaii, and Bre Moea’i from Salt Lake City, Utah.
Carillo is a 5-5 athlete who is going to add even more versatility to the Lady Pioneers’ backcourt. According to Coach Vogel, “Brooks can play either the point guard or shooting guard. She is a shut-down defender who will create all kinds of havoc for the opponent's offense. She will also be able to put a lot of pressure on the opposing team's defense with her quickness getting to the hoop.”
Moea’i, a strong athlete at 5-10, can play any offensive position from a 2 to 5. Coach Vogel says about Moea’I, “We are very fortunate to get a basketball player of Bre's caliber. She can hit the ‘3’, attack off the dribble, and guard any of the opponent's players – from their point guard to their post player. I couldn't be more excited to get Bre on campus and in a MCC uniform!”
