MCC Names Woolley Head Women's Basketball Coach -- Woolley begins fifth year at Miles Community College

(Miles City, MT) -- Miles Community College named Lindsay Woolley the new women's basketball coach. Woolley replaces Dwight Gunnare, who had resigned to take the same position at Casper College (Wyo.) last month.

"I am looking forward to working with Lindsay in his new role as head coach for the Lady Pioneers." said Athletic Director Rob Bishop. "He is a person of integrity and brings value to everything that he is a part of. We are very fortunate to hire a person and coach of his quality at Miles Community College."

Over the past four seasons he has been involved in Pioneer athletics in more way than one. Since his arrival to Miles City in 2003 he has an assistant on the men's team. However this won't be his first season with the women's team his first season at the school he had served as an assistant to Coach Gunnare. The past three seasons he's been the head coach of the Pioneer Golf teams.

Woolley was a first-team All-State member for the Big Sky Eagles basketball team in 1998. Lindsay will remain the men's assistant coach and be a full-time faculty member teaching mathematics and/or physical education.
