RADOSAVLJEVIC & BACOVIC MOVING ON FROM MCC

(Miles City, MT) Head women’s basketball coach Nate Vogel announced that Vedrana Radosavljevic & Klaudija Bacovic will be moving on to continue their education and basketball careers. Vedrana will be playing at Southeastern Illinois College next season, while Bacovic will be playing at Baltimore City College.

Radosavljevic is originally from Pale, Bosnia. Vedrana played one year for the Pioneers.

“Basketball in America and Europe are two different worlds,” commented Radosavljevic. “In America, a basketball player plays a lot faster, while in Europe a lot is based on tactics. For the past year, I've played for MCC and I think I've made a lot of progress as a player and as a person. I think that I have expanded my game with new basketball knowledge, and I now play a quicker basketball than I played before.”

Radosavljevic is looking forward to the new team and the school. “I think they play fast like MCC. They are a good team and I expect very much from the next season,” commented Vedrana.

Klaudija Bacovic is originally from Herceg Novi, Montenegro.

“The first year in America I played for Miles Community College and it was a nice experience,” commented Klaudija. “Basketball in America is very different, there are different ways of playing and the rules of the game are different. I think that freshman year and MCC have improved me as a player and as a person.”

Klaudija is looking forward to the new team and the new school. “I like the way they play. They play fast and have high quality players. I expect much from next year,” commented Bacovic. Coach Vogel is happy to have had Vedrana & Klaudija in Miles City for a year, “ I’m excited for both Vedrana and Klaudija. Klaudija will be moving closer to extended family and will be able to fill a need that Baltimore City College needs. Vedrana will be moving on to a program that is in need of a post player. She will get the opportunity to compete for playing time and hopefully make a difference for them. I’m all about moving our players on so that they can complete their education and make a positive difference in the world. This is the next step for Vedrana and Klaudija to do that.”
