Basketball (M)

The Pioneers headed to Rock Springs, WY on Saturday, February 17 to take on the Mustangs of Western Wyoming Community College. The Mustangs got off to a great start, digging MCC into an early hole and causing them to play catch up from the beginning. The Pioneers couldn't find their rhythm and as a result their efforts came up short 62-95. Coach Chase Tait commented, "After Western’s great start, it was hard to get back into the game. We didn't shoot the ball well and they did. We just didn’t come ready to play.”

Erie Olonade was the high scorer with 20, followed by Perion Little with 13.

The Pioneers will be in action again on Monday, February 19 when they head to Riverton, WY to take on Central Wyoming College at 7:30 pm.
