The Pioneers were looking to get back in the win column as they headed to Wyoming to take on the Mustangs of Western Wyoming Community College. The first quarter was rough for the Pioneers, as they found themselves in an early 10 point hole. They Pioneers rallied back in the second quarter to take a 8 point lead into the locker room at the half. After taking the lead in the second quarter, the Pioneers never looked back and got the victory in a high scoring game, 102-83. The Pioneers improve to 22-6 on the season and 8-4 in the conference. Coach Nate Vogel commented, “We could make a million excuses as to why we started slow, but that’s not what our team does. We found a way to claw back in the game and eventually get a win by a large margin.”

Dakota Dosch and Kyra Fleharty were the high scorers with 22 points, a season high for both ladies. Bre Moea’i was close behind with 18. Kyra Fleharty also led the team in rebounds with 7.
