WESTERN WYOMING TOO MUCH FOR PIONEERS

The Pioneers took on Western Wyoming Community College on Thursday night in the Kailey Gymnasium. The Pioneers had a good first half and were able to take a 33-31 lead into halftime. However, poor shooting hurt the Pioneers in the second half, making it hard for them to get into any sort of rhythm. Coach Chase Tait commented, “We had a couple of bad runs in the second half that really hurt us. We have a good team, we just haven’t been able to put it all together and finish a game.” Western Wyoming got the win 79-67.

Perion Little and Andrea LoBiondo were the high scorers with 15 apiece.

The Pioneers will be in action again tomorrow at 4:00 pm in the Kailey Gymnasium against Central Wyoming.
