On why Fleharty chose MCC: “I chose Miles Community College because of its smaller size and its community involvement. They have a smaller student to professor ratio and a friendly atmosphere. On my visit the team and coaches were very welcoming, and they made me really excited to play for them. I also chose Miles Community College because their academic program fit well with what I’m looking to pursue in the future.”

Coach Lewis on the signing of Kyra Fleharty : “We are very excited for Kyra to join our team for this upcoming season. She is an aggressive player with a lot of potential. Kyra had a outstanding high school career, and we look forward to having her tenacity on the court this year.”
