Lady P's signing day

(Miles City, MT) The Lady Pioneers Basketball team has announced that three of their graduating sophomores have signed their letter of intent to continue their academic and athletic careers. On Tuesday, May 3rd, 2016 the Lady P’s had a signing party for the three athletes

Theresa Mac-Dangosu will be continuing her career at NCAA D2 Florida Southern College, in Lakeland, FL. Mac-Dangosu was named to the Region IX All Conference team in her sophomore season. She shot 41% from the field and led the Lady P’s with 210 rebounds on the season. Mac-Dangosu scored a total of 617 points in her time at MCC.

The other two sophomores signed as a package deal. Shelby Holmes and Kayla Torio will be continuing their careers at NCAA D3 Eastern Nazarene College, in Quincy, MA. Holmes shot 30% from the field in her sophomore season. Shelby scored a total of 430 career points in her time with the Lady P’s. Torio shot 33.5% from the field this season. Kayla scored a 375 points and dished out 118 assists in her time at MCC.

MCC would like to wish these three girls the best of luck with their next stop, and would also like to thank these girls for representing Miles Community College the way they have.
